The AP500 mechanical cruise control fits all cars with a cable-operated throttle. Please check whether your accelerator pedal is connected by a cable or electronically. If your car has an electronic throttle, go for the AP900 cruise control instead.

Our cruise controls offer everything you’d expect from a classic cruise control. You operate the whole device with the command module.
- One flick holds the speed you’re currently driving (anywhere between 35 and 200 km/h).
- Two buttons store preset speeds; press one and the car settles into the speed saved in memory.
- A flick up or down raises or lowers your speed by 1 km/h or 10 km/h.
- An indicator light on the module shows whether the cruise control is on or actively holding your speed.
- To switch it off, use the module or simply press the brake or clutch pedal.

You don’t need to be a mechanic or an auto electrician to install the AP500. If you can use a soldering iron and a drill, you can do it yourself, the kit comes with a detailed step-by-step manual, and all you need is a set of screwdrivers, a soldering iron and a drill with a 10 mm bit. Installation takes about 6 hours. If anything’s unclear, call us, we’ll walk you through it.
